Success is in the doing!
“I began to feel trapped, confused, and depressed. I\’d lost my self-confidence and zest for life.” When my client began to feel this way, he initially tried harder to please his manager, however, no effort or outcome was ever appreciated or quite good enough. He realized that he needed to leave.
He spent some time working on getting himself to a point where he felt he could emotionally withstand the ups and downs of a job search.
Initially anxious about applying for jobs, he began to test the waters. He kept at it even though results weren’t what he had hoped. Until this week! He applied for a lower level position in his industry. Was contacted immediately about a newly created position that is a perfect fit for his skill set! Interviews in progress!
Message here is to develop a job search plan and to work it.
